　　On June 27, 2009, the First General Assembly and the First Annual Meeting of the Society for Cultural Interaction Studies in East Asia (SCIEA) were held at Kansai University Centenary Memorial Hall. Director TAO Demin of ICIS, Kansai University was inaugurated as the first president of the society.
